Abandoned Yorkie Found Raising Two Kittens


(WTXF)- Photographer Robyn Arouty thought she had seen it all.

Then one day she stumbled upon an abandoned trio of animals in a neighbors yard, a Yorkie, and two kittens.

She called a friend at Buster's Friend's Rescue, and got out her camera to capture the amazing bond between them.

The mother Yorkie had recently given birth to a litter of puppies which were nowhere to be found.

The dog had been nursing the kittens and raising them as if they were her own.

She protected them, cleaned them, cuddled with them, dedicating her life to caring for the kittens.

The Yorkie was left without a home or a family after it was abandoned. But she was able to find a purpose, in protecting, raising, and nursing a pair of kittens dealt a similar hand.
