Uhh, no. They can all read and write over at CBC.

They may be able to read and write but they don't always care about truth or facts. Remember the Rob Ford story about him allegedly calling 911 and then cussing out the police dispatcher?
Remember how the CBC insisted that it had two anonymous sources inside the dept, the dispatcher and one officer?
Remember how the Chief of Police stated that no such call took place and the CBC refused to retract the story because apparently, the Chief of Police isn't anywhere near as reliable a source as two anonymous employees?

As for the CBC beating the crap out of me, well they can do that to anyone. All they have to do is write some bullshit story about someone they don't like and then state they have some super secret anonymous source they can't reveal in the name of "journalistic integrity".

To insist that the CBC is some kind of paragon of journalistic integrity is a joke. They're no better than the rest of the jackals out there in the media world, with one major difference. All Canadians are essentially forced to financially support the CBC.
I don't expect much from private media outlets anymore but one would think that a media source that operates primarily off of tax dollars could be a little more fucking objective.
