Delwin Delwin:
Actually I followed that story and remember nothing of the sort. I just remember you getting some kind of a bizarre release from the fact that pro-Israeli supporters were able to incite a violent confrontation.
Speaking of double-speak...
Also selective memory. I'm not going to bother, but I'm pretty sure if you go back to that thread you're going to find a Peel cop clearly speaking out both sides of his mouth and describing nothing like what the other videos on that thread will clearly show - the larger group violently attacking the smaller one with weapons.
But forget about that, for a sec. Let's get back on subject. Now, as to what you call "a better source", which to those of us who speak prog converts into you're referencing some Mickey Mouse publication you were able to find after ignoring five other sources that says something more like what you want to hear.
But yeah different publications are giving slightly different versions.
Basically though, it sounds like this.
Some supporters of one candidate complained, alleging some of them were not being allowed to vote. An altercation of some sort occurred outside the Hall. A liberal official later claimed there was no altercation, but was he talking about "inside" the hall. The ones claiming an altercation said it happened outside.
Either the Halton police, or the Peel police, or they're the same thing were called. They now claim they were called either to “keep the peace”, or for "crowd control".
Here's a selection of reports.

“The complaints that we were hearing from a lot of our members was that their names were not on the (voters) list today, although they got invitations to come to the nomination meeting,” said the association’s executive vice-president, Amarinder Singh. “They waited the whole hour to get to the polling station, but then, they were turned away.”
Singh said those who were denied their votes gathered outside, where eventually a brawl erupted. Halton police confirmed officers were sent to the event at Malton’s International Centre, but would say only that they were there for “crowd control.” http://www.durhamregion.com/news-story/ ... n-meeting/
