I can remember this topic being discussed a couple of years ago when that White gentleman from SA who had been robbed and beaten numerous times was granted political asylum.

I also remember people telling me that this wouldn't happen again because it was just a one off case. Well it would appear that this isn't going to be a one off and we can expect to see alot more White SA's applying for asylum because they're quietly being driven out of their country by those fun loving guys from the ANC.

Now that Mandela is gone there will be no restraint or conciliation from the new elite and SA is going to end up looking more like Zimbabwe than Holland.

Seriously though it is good to see that it finally being understood that victims of African violence comes in all colours.

Unfortunately with Nelson Mandela gone I fully see that South Africa will eventually turn into another Zimbabwe. It will be another once prosperous country run into the ground. The fellow would would be the most upset would be Nelson Mandela.

Nelson Mandela was a terrorist who invented the practice of 'necklacing' his victims with tires soaked in gasoline and then set afire. I doubt he'd give a sh*t that white people are facing genocide in the South Africa he fathered.

Wonder if some of you have been to South Africa? Two sides to this issue that are followed but hold no water. The poor uneducated blacks that are brainwashed by Zuma/Malema and their goons to blame everything on the Whites and Apartheid. This is used a a rallying cry to cover up the current governments stupidity, when in doubt blame the whites.

The other side is the pro "Boer" and fear mongering. They got everyone worked up about the "night of the long knifes" when Mandela was released from prison and again after his funeral. Guess what never happened.

the day to day life's of most South Africans, Black, white and Coloured carry on with minimal of no issues. Yes there is a serious crime issue but what most fail to see is that 80%+ is black on black and confined to the townships. Sounds a lot like some suburbs in any North American City.

I currently work and live in Pretoria and outside of having to be aware of my surroundings and increased personal security my life goes on no different then when back in Canada. As I white guy I would not walk into Compton or east LA and in South Africa I stay out of Mamelodi and Atteridgeville.

Ride my motorcycle daily in and around Pretoria. Have driven back and forth to Johannesburg. Out to Mmpumalanga and KwaZulu Natal. Walked the streets of Cape Town and out at the local pubs every Friday after work in Pretoria.

I work with blacks and whites and call bullshit of a white South African calling for refugee status. It is a crime issue not a kill the whitey one.

As for Mandela, yes he was a terrorist when younger but what would you do if the ruling class would not allow you basic rights? Statistically he should have left prison hell bent of revenge but took the peaceful route. The young man was punished for his crimes, the older man became great.

Bart as for the tire necklaces that was more a Whinny thing and her favorite past time, while Mandela was in prison. Of course what people fail to realize is she did it to other blacks.

The ANC is loosing ground as its supporters pass on. For all the white fear mongering it is funny that the DA has got a firm hold on the Western Cape and that is headed by a white woman
