No. The Alberta Liberals and NDP would fuck us up as badly as they do to every other province they take control of. Alberta has no need to repeat the mistakes of others. I'll be voting Wildrose myself but I'd rather see the PC's remain in charge than ever have Alberta commit economic suicide by voting in one of the left-wing parties.
Anyone who votes for the Wildrose is also committing economic suicide for Alberta - the only difference is the time frame. The far left might bankrupt us in the short term (the next decade), but the Wildrose will do it over the long term.
It was under Klein-era PCs (now almost entirely Wildrose supporters) that we diverted close to $15 billion from the Heritage Trust Fund into general revenues so that Klein could keep taxes ultra-low at the expense of future generations.
The hoopla against the PCs is mis-directed - as bad as the million dollars or so of entitlements that Redford scammed us from, it's peanuts compared to the BILLIONS of dollars her predecessors diverted from the Heritage Trust Fund.
Had they just left the interest in their each year and added a measly 1% of royalties to the HTF, it would be worth close to $60 billion right now. Instead, because of Klein raiding the future to pay for the present, it sits at a paltry $16 billion.
Tack on the all infrastructure the Wildrose will take two or three times longer to build and it mounts up to a massive bill the next generation will have to pay.
The fact is that you have to make tough choices - either cut services or increase taxes and the Wildrose isn't going to do either.
No, they're going to use Saint Ralph's tried-and-true policy and screw over future generations so that Boomers can still get healthcare while paying the lowest taxes in Canada.

Still gobsmacked by the amount of damage and gratuitous self-serving grift Redfraud managed to do in such a short period of time. It was like we voted in a stealth Tony Soprano or something.

Yep, I'll fully admit she pulled the wool over my eyes - back to voting ABC for me.
I'm thinking the Alberta Party might be a non-offensive place to park my vote for a while.
