After discovering a plot to add hormones and steroids to B.C. chicken, local farmers have formed an elite enforcement agency to ... wait, scratch that.

The line between fact and fiction is blurred in the latest marketing campaign for local chicken, a “parody action movie trailer” called Chicken Squad.

In the trailer, which was released first to The Province Saturday morning, chicken farmers dodge bullets and chase down bad guys who want to add chemicals to B.C. birds.

But while the movie is entirely fake, the message behind it is anything but...
