$1:
Last week on the campaign trail, Marois was firm on these points:
Quebec would continue using Canadian currency
Request a seat at the Bank of Canada should a sovereignty referendum end in a "yes" vote
The border between Canada and Quebec should also remain open if Quebec secedes
1. technically correct, we can't prevent it. Lots of places use either the USD or Euro as local currency.
But they have no influence on the monetary policy of that currency.
2. Fuck off
3. Which does not mean the ROC cannot put border posts up.
That could happen if this separation gets ugly.
4. Passports.
An excellent opportunity to change the Canadian citizenship situaition, to either be Canadian and only Canadian, or not.
Once again, Quebeckers get fed only one version of
separation, the one that is most palatble to them, full of lies and half truths.
*sigh*
