Seems to me that this should lead to at least 10 pages of discussion on the proper gun to use. I vote .410 with #4 shot.

Or a .22-- one hundredth inch per pound.

Even a baseball bat. I mean, I love my cat, but the day it holds me hostage or attacks a child is the day it dies. Quickly, and without remorse.

.22, 'rat load'. Just enough to penetrate the skull, not enough to blow it out the other side. Cleanup would be a bitch, and kids don't need to see that.

What idiot keeps baby and cat in one house. All people I know who had a cat, and started having a baby took cat out of house. It can scratch baby, kid can get allergic, cat it a container for infection. Adult man can keep it easy, but not a baby, the immune system is weak in childhood.

It can, I select aquarium fishes. Selection is a very powerful thing, I'm sure after a 100 year cat selection you will have a cat like elephant.

Wives tales. Babies and cats get along very well, and can improve a child's immune system.

Most of the time.

I was wondering that too. My vet was worried when my cat went from 11 pounds to 9. At 22, you should be very afraid!

I don't know how in Canada, but in Ukraine it's wildness and crazyness.

If you want to get rid of a cat double quick, dump a bucket of water on it. They really don't like that.

I had a cat that topped 20 pounds and it was not fat. Could beat the crap out of a 50 lb dog.

I raised it on normal cat food, human scraps and lots of antibiotics. Tetracycline, furazolidone, penicillin derivatives, etc. It supplemented its diet on field mice, etc although I think they were more toys than food. Pretty healthy cat and you definitely knew when it was in your lap.
