We were at the Blue Rodeo show last night, and the improvised acoustic version of the show was absolutely fantastic!
Staying in a hotel with no power - not so much..

It was. I love "raw" music anyway. That's "real" music to me, so it was, in fact, a real treat.

Almost (I repeat, almost) made up for waking up to a pitch black, cold room with no coffee or hot water this morning.

I think it was Stevie Ray Vaughn who said that Rock and Roll should be able to be done with one guy and an acoustic guitar wearing jeans and a t-shirt on stage. Everything else is spectacle.

But . . .no coffee! Sacrilege! Even in the worst winter storms, Timmies always gets power connected first.

We didn't get cool tunes last night but out power went off at 4 am for two hours. My kid was up all night and this morning I found the potato peeler in the washing machine. :D

Oh and the moon was fat. 8)

Stevie Ray Vaughn is absolutely correct. At least I've always seen it that way.

Only one Timmie's had power and the line up was three blocks long! XD
