Extremely sad, though it is great that he lived such a long life. I once read a book about this man, and for all the people who hated him so many years ago (yes there were MANY including, sadly, some in the government of free nations) there are exponentially more who loved him.

If every human being had the courage, dignity and conviction that this man had, the world would be a better place.

It`s not just the whites, it`s the middle class blacks and Indians too that are leaving. Canada would benefit by any and all of them coming. Plenty of SA doctors have come here, and God knows we could always use more doctors in Canada especially in rural areas and smaller centres. With Mandela gone, RSA is sure to go the way of Rhodesia.
