I agree with this...

$1:
Theres nothing wrong with the OPCW, but the decision to award it a Nobel Peace Prize seems premature, to say the least. And its even more puzzling when one considers the popular choice for the award, at least among the media. Malala Yousafzai tried to defy the Taliban in Pakistan by keeping schools open for girls and young women, and took a bullet to the head for it. She has since become a global spokesperson for womens rights in Islamic countries, a dangerous and difficult position which the teenager has handled with grace and dignity. Wouldnt recognition of Yousafzais efforts by the Nobel committee have focused more on actual accomplishment than simply giving an attendance award to the OPCW?

I hate it when they do this.

For crying out loud. The Nobel Peace Prize committee has no sense of patience anymore. I mean, bloody wait until you see if these organizations/people are actually SUCCESSFUL before endowing them with recognition.

Its similar to Obama getting it after JUST getting into office and now its a joke with the drone strikes all over the place. This UN task force could very well prove ineffective, fall a part, and we're all back to square one.

I don't understand. A 16 year old is nominated for a Nobel, and it's an insult?

Anymore the Nobel Peace Prize is just a political tool for the Norwegian leftists. It's functionally irrelevant.

Malala is different case. She has accomplished a significant amount already in bringing a lot of light to the issues plaguing her region.

She got shot. While I admire her fortitude and resilience she's not on par with what it should mean to rate a Nobel Peace Prize. Nor is Obozo. Obozo's award made a mockery of the award and then his 'kill list' coupled with his recent determination to kill Syrians has added insult to injury.

The Nobel Committee is a joke and if I were to get a Nobel award I'd give the money to the NRA and auction the (trophy? plaque?) on eBay and squander that on a weekend in Vegas.
