IT's the same with the claims that 100's of native women were raped by the RCMP in northern BC. Not one official complaint. I can understand the reluctance of these women to file a complaint, but now that they have researchers and organizations behind them, surely they would have the required support to do so. But, after the breathless headlines and 15 minutes of fuss, nothing more is heard.

When you talk with or about ships, sailors and anecdotal reports you know exactly what you're gonna get. A tall tale embellished upon to make the story sound more entertaining which, is why all Canadian Naval Tales start with the preface of the teller saying "This is no shit" which goes to ensure that the listener knows the tales are factual as opposed to some bullshit "fairy tale".
