Not big at all.

1998QE2, which passed by not long ago, had a satellite 600 meters in diameter.

There is not an established lower limit on what is considered a "moon". Every natural celestial body with an identified orbit around a planet of the Solar System, some as small as a kilometer across, has been identified as a moon.
