I'm waiting for just one Province to step up and say, "Hey Alberta, we can get by without our welfare cheque this year, spend your money on those that no longer have a home to go back to.

And I'm holding my breath.

How quickly the ROC forgets how much Alberta sends to Ottawa every year.

A lot of them still think Alberta is on the dole from Ottawa.

I'm pretty sure almost no one thinks that. Not with the way we make sure they all know how much we send east every year.

That's because bike paths and hiking trails outside of the cities won't be repaired for years.

Have you seen the highway 40 through the Kananaskis? That place will be closed for years.

Tourism is going to get HAMMERED!

And I'll bet you blame REDford for the lack of foresight to move Kanninaskis out of the mountains before the floods hit.

Grasping at straws today.

We saw it last time with the conservatives it took them four years to repair the damage in K country and it was small compared to this. I wonder how many people will be driving around looking for camp sites this summer since half the ones in southern Alberta are gone.

I think with all the damage and the fact that the rivers are still receding the estimate for rebuilding will rise quite a bit higher when it's all said and done. It's just amazing the damage in some areas. I have give some credit to Nenshi and Redford for their handling of this whole event.

Keep holding your breath.

God, I remember when Alberta and their neighbour BC used to be buds. Now you brag like Toronto and whine like Quebec.
