Wow, that sucks. These Canadians discover an archeological find, and report it to the proper authorities, and they have to pay such a huge amount of money for it? That's not right. They did the right thing to report it, expanding our heritage and knowledge about Canada's history, and they get penalized for it.

Pretty sad.

How'd they know she was 24? Why not 'mid-twenties'?

there are plenty of such finds that go unreported when excavations are being done.....can't have a few ancient bones or artifacts holding up modern progress and construction projects :wink:

They can tell how old she was, but not in what century? :P

I just did a project in the house where I lined all of the closets with cedar. Musty old skeletons would kind of mess up the entire effort.
