$1:
at a penitentiary in Ontario where an inmate had threatened his life,

whoever did it, when he gets out, I'm buying him a beer.

$1:
"He tells me it's horrible in prison."

Far, far better than he gave to Christopher Speer.

Fuck you Omar, you are a dirty terrorist scum.

My sympathy for Khadr receiving death threats from con is about the same level as death threats against child molesters.

I feel more sympathy for the cockroaches and rats that inhabit the same facility as those subhuman scum.

That puts it rather well.

"..should obviate concerns about any negative influence from his family in Toronto, some of whom expressed sympathy for al-Qaida several years ago."

Bullshit. I'm sure he talks to his momma every day on the phone.

I hope he meets some nice new friends in Edmonton

Khadr was finally allowed onto the range in February. In March, prison authorities asked him to work on the food line, handing out pieces of butter to other prisoners. When an inmate asked for more than was allowed, Khadr refused.

"This guy threatened to stab Omar," Edney said in an interview.

So they aren't trying to kill the little prick for being a terrorist and killing Armericans they're trying to kill him for being a douche to other prisoners. XD

Oh well, whatever gets the job done. Keep up the good work Omar and I'm sure your gonna get the one way ticket to paradise.

The federal jail in Edmonton has a *very* high amount of former military staff.

The Military Jail in Edmonton has a *very* high amount of current military staff. What does that have to do with the inmates and their intolerance for someone that would indiscriminately kill women and children?

Xort might be thinking that the ex-military types in the civilian penitentiary would be willing to turn a blind eye to any unfortunate circumstances that fall upon Omar. Frankly I think they'll be more professional then that.

I have a freind who's son lives in Belgium. Does anyone know if it is posible for him to go to the Hague and file a criminal complaint against Harper for his complicity in war crimes, for his part in aiding the torture and illegal detention of a child soldier?
Bush had to quickly cancel a speaking engagement in Switzerland, when he was warned that Swiss prosecutors had prepared the case against him, and had done all the paper work to have him arrested on arrival, for war crimes. If they are not shy about arresting Bush, they would not have the least hesitation about arresting Harper.
It would, at the least, mean that if Harper ever set foot in a country which had signed onto the International Criminal Court at the Hague, they would be obliged to extradite him to the Hague, to face criminal charges, and spend many years in prison, where he belongs.Maybe we can get rid of him early that way, for a long time..
