Eh, 10km offshore is fine, even if I think wind power is generally worthless in terms of electrical generation.

Indeed, not like they will be disturbing historical areas.

I personally don't have an issue with 10 Km off shore and I do understand the veterans points of view. But, with that being said had the sight of every major battle during WWII clung to the don't touch it, it's a monument philosophy, London would be a bombed out hulk, Volgograd wouldn't exist, Hiroshima would be cemetery and Pearl Harbour would be permanently closed to visitors.

And as a comparison they're farming on alot of the WWI battle sites that Canadians fought and died for yet I don't hear people complaining about that so, why should Juno be any different?

As long as our monuments and cemeteries are kept, maintained and respected by a the French people I think that should be sufficient tribute to those Canadians who paid the ultimate price for that countries freedom.

If France wants to build wind farms in their own country who are we to say no. I'll just laugh at them later when they end up costing far more than the power they generate.

Never you mind. Wind and Solar power are awesome base load generators! Random Joes and Janes all over the 'net can't be wrong!

Quit drinking the Exxon kool-aid! Down with Keystone! NARF!
