ahhhh.... a grinder, some red lead and she'll be as good as new. Hull techs should be able to take care of that.

10 days out of refit? There is already rust on the bow!

What kind of damage to the aft of the ship?

Once saw the nose of the Qu'appelle fixed with some rags, duct tape and ships side grey. It looked okay till it started to rain and then it looked more like the bullring was the nose and it had big multicoloured boogers hanging down. 8O

The tourists in Frisco loved it though.

Winnipeg is my old ship. If they're not going to take care of it I guess I'll have to join the Navy again and take care of her myself. Where the hell were the tugs? You can't even see them in the video.

$1:
According to an eyewitness, at about 8:20 a.m. the American Dynasty trawler was leaving a big ship repair dock attached to the base.

Kind of a misleading statement. Graving Dock isn't part of the base nor is it really physically attached to the dockyard (only to Naden).

Tugs had already cut themselves free by this point.

Pretty awesome that a RCN frigate can take out a US ship and not even have her engines warm! Well done!
