Reading the CBC comments, most seem to fault the pregnant woman. Apparently she should have made way for him, not provoked him with her phone, and fled the elevator when attacked rather than defend.

Yep, some are deeming him the bigger victim.

It will be easier to judge once both sides of the story come out. She may have had some culpability and the only witness so far is a friend.

There is also video surveillance. It takes a special kind of asshole to assault a pregnant woman, Provoked or not.

Agreed. Let's see what the surveillance says.

That's what I was thinking when I read it in the paper. How the hell does a guy confined to a wheelchair assault a woman who is standing upright?

Either the got out of the chair or she's extremely short. I can't help but get a bad feeling about this one.

Unfortunatley this has already been plastered all over facebook so if the guy happens to be innocent he's still gonna be found guilty in the court of public opinion and some brave soul is likely to try and save this womans honour by punching a cripple out.

Yep. However the lack of confirmed facts hasn't stood in the way of judgement from the usual suspects.
