I understand the father would be upset over the death of his daughter....

But seriously, how ungrateful can you get ?

The donor is not obligated at all to give up his organs upon death, after all they were his body parts.

Next time, sit and wait for the perfect organ, and die during the wait because you are such an idiotic sonofabitch.

I have considered organ donation, I'm sure most people have a t some point.

TBH, if I look at the possibility of my organs going to people like this,
I think I won't bother.

I cannot donate blood (neither can you, Shep, or you Martin...) because we lived on another continent for more than 6 months, but a smoker can donate their lungs... I thought they only wanted healthy tissue? Weird.

They should never have transplanted her with those lungs.

I never have really given blood. last time I gave it, they put the sharp thingy right through my vein. I had a huge black bruise all around my arm, including my elbow.....I had to pump my arm just to give them their bag. I only give a couple vials every two months

You can. The question is 'if you've lived outside north america for longer than 6 months in the last 5 years'. You were not in sub-saharan Africa or deepest darkest Paupa New Guinea, so you'd most likely be a low risk for spreading HIV, Hep C or Malaria.
