I do not understand why it is going to take several months to come up with a ruling. It would appear to be an open and shut case. Further embarrassing to the city of Cincinnati is the fact that this case has taken over a year to come to trial.

It could be because they want to clear ruling, it would be even worse if they couldnt get a conviction due to a technicality which could later be exploited.

That possibility did pop into my mind, but biological parents out number adoptive ones so I figure the odds are in my favour.
