What's the problem, it's legal?

You might say it's morally wrong, but it's still better than lawyer or economist. :D

As we've heard here before, who are we to enforce our morals on someone else?

I like that the article actually points out that the industry is only doing this because they are under the threat of losing a major part of their workforce because of yet another broad and unspecific law that Harper is trying to ram through which will make it unlikely the businesses can hire foreigners. The need workers too.

In 2004 the Liberal government started the ball rolling scrapping a program to deny foreign born strippers temporary work permits.

Don't you remember the story of Liberal Minister Sgro using the stripper program to do a favour and fast track someone she knew?

It's all been done in an attempt to prevent human trafficking, sexual exploitation and abuse that many of these women endure.

And in the process a legitimate job market is being cut off from foreign workers trying to find a job, and happen to end up dancing because the locals believe it is beneath them.

Lack of morals makes no sense... it's just different morals.

I'm sure they're just saying that, DrCaleb, so they can raise the price of lap-dances. :(
