Um, so maybe I don't get it but do the people with computers being routed through this FBI server know they are being routed through it and have that DNSchanger virus?
Sites like Facebook and the Google homepage have been informing users that are infected that they have an infection for several months. So have anti-virus companies, and Windows Update. Some ISPs have been as well.
If you leave an unpatched Windows 95/98 computer on the internet, you will get infected by the 'Code Red' virus in less than 5 minutes. That virus is nearly 20 years old. So, many people out there still have not patched their computer in 20 years.
I'm all for ISPs that cut off access to computers that have habitual infections. Why should the rest of us suffer? Why should the ISP have to put up with such a huge volume of traffic that is nothing but attemtps to infect other PCs?
Cut them off until they fix it.
