R.I.P. is all I have to say, no comment on the rioting and the rest. "Can't we all just get along?"

Good riddance. He may not have deserved the full service package from the LAPD, but the POS was was no innocent.

It's a sad end to a tragic life. I'll give the guy credit that he was repulsed by the riots that took place in his name and that will forever be recalled as 'The Rodney King Riots'.

The occasion of his passing also marks a change in the media as they recall the events of twenty years ago. Back when this happened there were only rumors of the Koreans arming themselves and defending their property when the LA police abandoned Korea Town in order to secure the financial district. This time there's been much more, and favorable coverage of the Koreans defending their property in the absence of the police. Even CNN last night gave clear approval to the Koreans in about a 15 minute segment out of an hour devoted to Rodney King and the riots and etc.

20 years ago the story of the Koreans was ignored by the pro-gun control media and you just never heard about it except from people who were there, like my friend Jerry who went to help out a Korean friend of his and sat on a rooftop for four days and nights defending the family store.
