another chink in the armour of single-nation Europe... good. NEVER devolve powers on border controls and immigration to a central European power. Europe is not homogenous by any stretch of the imagination. European Parliament should not be stronger than any one member nation's sovereign government.

Having to bail out one of the countries with shitty border protection does that. Don't really think that is what "your citizens" want. Unless of course I am totally off here, and they LOVE paying extra taxes.
