This one's not so much about PC... It's that the Rosary has been co-opted by Mexican gangs in the area and rosaries are used by them as a gang sign... Sad on many levels.

Why, Andy, I'm sure you'll love my answer: The corporate employers that depend on illegally cheap illegal Mexican workers will have to pay legal US residents higher wages in order to get them into the fields. This will create jobs for US residents and they'll all have to pay at least minimum wage or probably more.

I am happy with your answer about wages, but from what I read on this forum, we're crazy to relive that and racist to boot. The economy will collapse if we don't have cheap labor to exploit, and what better people to exploit than immigrants.

True, but the Mexican guys are profoundly violent. Even the Asian gangs are nicer kids than the Mexicans are.

I don't think the economy will collapse just because we can't fuck over poor indigenous peoples from Latin America. It'll adjust is what it will do. Relative prices for food as a percentage of personal income will rise as labor prices rise and a nice side effect will be higher food prices which will help reduce obesity all on its own.
