Give them time, the military won't let them crush opposition parties so they just need some time to organize, the Muslims were already set up with a strong organization structure, a few years and that advantage will be gone.

It's not only the opposition parties who should be concerned. It's their neighbor to the North East who has the most to loose if these people take power.

Exactly. Even with Russian equipment and advisors the Egyptians had their asses handed to them by the Israelis, with minimal western assistance.....a few hand claps and well done old boy being all it amounted to. The Russians are threatening nukes?? Ta Ta Isaac, it was nice but you're on your own now. the Suez crisis in a few words.

Here's the resurrection of an old idea. The Israelis take back the Sinai and give it to the West Bank Jordanians in exchange for reclaiming all of Judea and Samaria.
