Some of those quotes from the Palestinians are interesting. $1: “I am going back to my house for the first time for 17 days. I hope this ceasefire will hold for the whole 72 hours and longer, God willing. We don’t need more bloodshed, or more devastation. I’d like to see Israel to be defeated and broken but the circumstances were very difficult,” Attar said. $1: “We have long experience of Israel. They break the ceasefire all the time. They want to hit us more. They want more massacres. Israel doesn’t want to end the war and they don’t want a peace settlement. I don’t want a ceasefire. I want the resistance to fire until the end when Israel is defeated and asks for a truce,” Ramadan said.

They want peace but first it'd be nice to kill all the Jews and too bad they can't do it. They deserve everything that happens next.

Its called a resistance movement, very common in countries being occupied you know. And after 7 years of siege, endured one massive military campaign and going through much more violent and bloody one now. I doubt they would be praying for Israels prosperity.

Hamas controls the media. Not just local, but what comes in from other countries by intimidating and managing foreign media. On the street stuff is managed by the religion. So everything is always Israel's fault to the locals. Young Gazans have been indoctrinated since early childhood to welcome death, but blame the Jews.

Well, DD, the difference is that you will never find quotes from Israelis about wanting to kill Palestinians or wanting to defeat them. That's what makes Palestinians vermin, untermenschen, really, and the Israelis the noble people that they are. If the Palestinians would just see reason and get off the God given Israeli land they are squatting on, Israel would never trouble them again.

What a crock of shit, the Israeli's want the same thing as Hamas, total destruction of the other side at any cost, and they are just as brutal and barbaric, only, they have the benefit of the media's veil of deception. I have never heard so much bullshit as when one of their PR guys starts talking about investigating their war crimes, very reminiscent of the Iraqi information minister during the invasion of Iraq. They finally admitted their solder is in fact in Hamas custody. As I insinuated before, they lied about it to maintain troop morale. Huge deal in this crisis, videos of this guy being made public should help to leverage an end to this. We know they have no sympathy for the innocent women and children they kill and dismember on a daily basis, but apparently they actually do value human life, when it happens to be a fellow Israeli. Never seen such an open demonstration of inhumane barbarism. Savages.

But wait...haven't we just been looking at pictures of Jews bashing Israel, and hasn't there been quoting of self-loathing Jews like Finkelstein? If the Jews controlled the media wouldn't they put the kibosh on that sort of crap? How long do you think a Palestinian version of Finklestein could exist on the streets of Gaza talking about Gazans the way Norman talks about Israel? Is it possible there's less of the "kill them all" crap from the Israelis we hear from the Gazans, because they're less likely to talk like that. I suggest the possibility it's because they're not indoctrinated into savagery the way they are in Gaza from the time they're little Abduls and Aishas.

How are they doing on the larger thread with solving the problems of the Ukraine? How about you? Has seven years been enough for you to come to Jesus on the issue of the idiocy of carbon taxes and subsidized windmills?

One thing for sure: The Israelis are far more tolerant and patient than the USA is.
If someone fired 2600 rockets into the USA we'd end them.
