Dr Efraim Zuroff, of the respected Simon Wiesenthal Centre, agreed, suggesting the Donetsk flyers were “an attempt to paint the pro-Russian forces as anti-Semitic”.

Jabberwalker Jabberwalker:
Mr. Obama has concluded that even if there is a resolution to the current standoff over Crimea and eastern Ukraine, he will never have a constructive relationship with Mr. Putin, aides said. As a result, Mr. Obama will spend his final two and a half years in office trying to minimize the disruption Mr. Putin can cause, preserve whatever marginal cooperation can be saved and otherwise ignore the master of the Kremlin in favor of other foreign policy areas where progress remains possible.

NASA better have a manned spacecraft capable of reaching low orbit ready right now as the Russians (and possibly the Chinese) are the only ones capable to reach the ISS right this minute.

So far Putin has won every move! 8O

US: Pictures indicate Russian troops in Ukraine

The State Department has released images of soldiers in eastern Ukraine that it says are Russian forces, showing militants wearing similar uniforms and brandishing Russian weapons.

The pictures mark the latest effort by the West to prove that Moscow is using its military to stir unrest in Ukraine.

A copy of the 11-page State Department document was given to reporters.

It includes pictures captioned as "concerned citizens" in the Ukraine cities of Crimea and Slovyansk who are dressed the same and carrying the same kind of RPG-30 rocket launchers that are issued to Russian troops.

There was no way to immediately verify the photographs, which were either taken from the Internet or were given to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe last week by Ukraine diplomats.

No! Those aren't Russian soldiers, they're pro-Russian militia fighting for the people of Donetsk against the fascist Ukrainian Nazis (backed by West) that have taken over Kiev!

Now pardon me while I go check my bank account to make sure I've been paid.

I liked how the Russians found some scorched bodies with perfectly intact calling cards from the 'Right Sector' on the bodies.

IIRC someone, didn't someone else, who shall remain nameless use the same ruse in about September 1939?

I guess it's true that the more things change the more they stay the same especially in the case of despots.

They prepare something for 28-th of April. 9-th and 25-th of May. Especially at 25-th.
I think it'll be something unusual. Huylo Vladimir can do every possible trick.

Paper money, plastic cards - even the nylon lanyard on that medallion.

I'm calling bullshit that those items came from those cars.
