Brenda Brenda:
Did you read the link of dress codes I posted? Actually, there are 2.
One for employees, one for guests.

Sorry Brenda, I'm not seeing it. Can you re-post it for me before Brock has an aneurysm? Thanks.

I don't have a problem with someone bringing Disney to court because of their dress code. A company is allowed to implement one for their employees and even for guests. You want a job at Disney and they refuse because you have a beard and don't want to shave it. Go ahead if you want, bring them to court.

In this case, I have a problem because she waited and worked for them 2 years before, all of a sudden, it became a problem. Either there was a problem from the very beginning or there wasn't. She didn't complain, she knew the dress code and took the job anyway.

Suck it up girl, follow the dress code, quit or take the other position they are offering you.

$1:
Ms. Boudlal has worked for the company for more than two years and recently made the request to wear a hijab, and we have been working directly with her on accommodations. In the interim, we offered reasonable accommodations to allow her to work during her scheduled shifts, which she declined.”

To me, that's the important part. She's worked there for almost two years and all of a sudden, she wants to wear a hijab. Sounds to me like she's a shit disturber, nothing else.

Oh, there's no denying she'll have a tough time winning this due to contractual obligation. That was never in doubt.

But if it doesn't affect her role, they really could just avoid a messy trial and let her wear it. Seriously, this shit is not a problem at all at Canada's Wonderland booths. They should really ease up instead of continuing the 'All American' propaganda.

What really is 'all American' about a dress code?

In Saudi Arabia and Iran (amongst others) women don't have a choice in dressing how they want, or driving, or being in the company of men they are not wed to.

Disney has had a strict dress code since they started theme parks back in the 10th century.

Your tone alludes to either a lack of knowledge on the US and Disney or an anti-American slant.

Propaganda my arse. It's telling that you see it as such.

Read the link! They even state their vision is to promote the 'All American' as a clean shaven, well dressed whatever. That's propaganda.

That's Disney.

Disney 'aint a country or a political party. It's a media company that's been around 70 years.

If 'All-American' is a problem to you, don't go there. Unlike Morroco we have choices in Canada.

Have you ever been to a Disney theme park? Disney has carefully crafted a corporate image at these parks over the past 55 years and you and this assmonkey want them to throw that all away. People go to these parks precisely because they are immaculately clean, the staff are clean, well-groomed, and uniform in their appearance and these things and more are inseparable and are intrinsic to Disney's success.

See, if this woman can wear her headscarf then a Rastafarian can wear his dreadlocks, a Pentecostal woman can wear long hair in a ponytail and wear long dresses, the Jewish guy can wear his yarmulke, and the sum of all if that is Disney loses a part of what has made them special.

But you're not going to accept any of that because this woman wearing her BS scarf is an attack on "All-American propaganda" according to you. That said, you've exposed your anti-American bias and it's clear to me that no amount of reason is going to dissuade you from supporting this assmonkey because her actions support your anti-American agenda.

raydan raydan:
Hi Boss...

I know I've been working for you for 5 years now, but I'm in this religion, you see, and from now on there are a few things that have to change.

From now on, I can't wear a suit and tie. We have a strict dress code and I'll be coming to work in a Batman costume.
I'll be taking a 3 hour lunch break, paid of course, because I have to pray. To help me concentrate on prayer, I'll be having a few drinks.
I'll be taking an 8 week vacation every year because we all assemble at our temple near Vegas in February and March.
I'll be packing at work because my religion says we must be armed at all times.
One last thing... between sunrise and sunset I'm not allowed to talk, so I'll have a bit of a problem with customer service.

Thank you for listening...

Awesome, can I be your 1st convert!

I'm not anti-American at all, nor do I have an agenda against Americans. This could have been Disney Japan, and they could be promoting some stereotypically western version of Japan using ninjas, and I would still be against it because it's still propaganda.

It's not American at all - it's fake. If anything, my views are PRO-American since they follow the constitution.

Then don't go there. It's easy.

Oh and by the way, Disney Japan is still Disney. But you are missing the points in every post you make.
