NancyDrew NancyDrew:
OnTheIce OnTheIce:

A cell phone doesn't protect you when a guy is face to face, hanging onto YOU and the car? Ever tried dialing a cell while someone is hanging in your car?

You don't know who the victim is. If the guy was indeed trying to attack Bryant and got dragged to his death, too bad for him.

Bryant's wife was sitting right beside him, she had a cell phone and used it to call 911 (per police). Bryant was obviously in a rage and nobody knows what or who started the altercation. Obviously Bryant's lawyers are going to claim the cyclist started it and Bryant was just acting like an innocent choir boy racing his car on the wrong side of the street, jumping curbs, and finally running over the dead victim.

For all you know it was Bryant a who tried to run the cyclist off the road in the first place, angering the cyclist, and the rest is history.

Lots of opinion without fact.

Everyone has the right to protect themselves.

If you had it your way, Bryant would stand there, be seriously injured all in sake of doing what's right for a degenerate, drunk cyclist.

This man rides in front of Bryant's car and stops abruptly. (On Video).

Then, he throws his bike at Bryant's passenger side of the car. (Also on video).

Bryant tries to back up to avoid this lunatic (On Video) and the guy runs around the front of the car (On Video), grabs a hold of Bryant (According to an eye witness) and the car.

Should he get out of his car and have a fist fight with the guy?

Should he run away, leaving his "wife" for this lunatic to have for himself?

Do you actually think you're supposed to sit there calmly while some man attacks you until police arrive?

Get a grip.

The facts that we know are insuffient to comment for 7 pages, really. Let's wait 'til we get the whole story before we hang anyone.

Can you provide a link to proof that the cyclist was drunk?

Also, can you provide links to the videos you mention?

Thanks.

On the Ice:

Under what law was Bryant permitted to run over the man with his car when the man was already down?

Thanks

If I have a long stick, the victim may have to step towards me to defend himself.

my point is, when a car is used aggressively towards someone, running around the front of a car is a neccessary step to reach the driver.
