I'm hesitant to add to this post, but I will.
Please keep in mind that I have a brother in law and a friend lost to suicide and I in no way find it funny.
I don't find Mr.C's post funny either but thats just my opinion.

Fact of the matter is that "attempted suicide" is nothing more than a cry for help, if someone REALLY wants to die they will and it will only take 1 try.

Mr. C has a right to his opinion and all of you have a right to your reactions, I think it's time to move on now.

Suicide by freight train? Such a poor person clearly needs help. I actually worked with an old CPR'er who had to do the clean up after a couple of such incidents. The best he could say about it was that it would have been over fast and with no pain whatsoever. All I can say is that I'm glad it wasn't me who had to be anywhere near the aftermath. I freak out easily around such things.

Gotta admit though, if it'd been suicide by Lionel train then I would have been totally fucking impressed.

Actually, you can be killed by lying between the tracks, so it's amazing that she lived. If a train is moving fast enough, it will create a vacuum under the train and turn you into dog food.

Also, I don't know what you people think you're accomplishing in this thread - best reaction is to add a person to your blocked list and find better things to get riled up about. All I ever see is "This post was made by X who is currently on your ignore list." - until, of course, someone just has to go quote them and respond to their stupidity.
