So what you are saying, is that gays are fine, as long as they are "manly" gays. I think the "lady"gays don't even make the first bootcamp...

Nope. They're all manly enough to make it through boot camp anyway.

Then what is the problem?
I don't think the in fuzzy pink and leather thongs dressed gays will want to enter the military anyway...
As long as they do their job right, wth does it matter what gender they like?

It was a lame comparison. Being gay is no longer illegal. Pedophilia and jihadiism are.
So you don't accept pedophilliacs and jihadis as your equals?
Oh, and pedophillia is just illegal in your narrow minded country. In Saudi Arabia, as was in the news this month, marrying a 10 year old girl is perfectly acceptable and legal.
I dare say that being a jihadi is also legal in many jurisdictions.
Then its not Pedophilia in the legal sense, and Jihad is just a crusade for Allah (god), that sounds kinda familiar, didn't Gov. Palin say Iraq was "a task from god"
sounds like being a "jihadi" is legal in the states too...

According to some, that should get them kicked out,if it's as strict as Bart says but obviously it's not.
There far from home,if they want to dance I say let them dance.

Whatever happened to soldiers talking to the media about these sorts of things being unproffessional?
They'll be lucky if their superiors don't line them up infront fo a ridlfe squad behind the shitters for this. We serve to follow orders, our opinions don't matter, and as far as it goes wit the media it should be a case of don't ask, don't tell.
Their opnions do matter, I'll bet 98% of the people serving think B-HO is an idiot for allowing gays to serve.
Just remember the leader has to respect the guys doing the hard work not the queers in San Fan and LA.
The military protects democracy, it doesn't exercise it.
Do as you told and carry on.

Let's make this simple, statistically they are not many gays in the world. Let alone a country. It's a step forward for gay rights but they are also forgetting the opinions of the soldiers.
The opinions of the soldiers don't matter. They signed up to wear a uniform and take orders, not question the sexuality of their fellow soldiers. Does anyone really, honestly think that while gay and straight soldiers are in a warzone, that the gay soldier will not be able to hit a target because he is openly gay? You would have to be stupid to think that.

I think we should introduce homosexuality into the military on a progressive basis, like rank. You do a year in the service, you and your boyfriend get a permit to finger each other in the ass. You learn a skilled trade, you get your "Felatio ticket". To take it in the ass, you have to actually take some shrapnell in the ass.
It becomes apparent you may want to stick with economics...
