And she was 17.
And now we are all attention seeking idiots.

Yes, that's right. My story about one girl 20 years ago is all about you.
Your story is an attempt to prove your point about Teenagers being Attention Seeking Idiots who know nothing.

So technically, no it's not all about me.

But it's about people of my age, which happens to of course include me.

Ah... but you're forgetting the other 77 people who DIDN'T go down to the beach the next day.
77? Were they teens?

So why did you bring up the story of this one teenage girl being an idiot?

If there is a point, I'm missing it, because I don't see any other point then you trying to say somehow because some of us are younger then 20, We are irresponsible rude attention seeking dumbassed idiotic druggie kids who don't know their way around their own damn mind or the places around him.

Just so you know....

Not only teens can act like idiots.

Gotta love stereotypes.

I think a lot has to do with character too. The girl in the video is not a dumb ignorant child. She is mature enough to be in the place she wanted to be.

You think her actions were mature?

I don't.
And?

I guess everything needs an opposition.

And?

Many 15 year olds aren't as mature as they think they are.
Of course.

But, Many 30 year olds aren't as mature as they think they are. I know quiet a few.

Will you stop twisting my words? I never said that. I said she was mature enough be in the place where she wanted to be. Making your own decisions and live with it are the first steps of maturity, aren't they?

Most people believe they're invincible, that things happen to other people. Many people don't think seriously about potential consequences because they don't really believe anything will happen to them.
Oh, kinda like the drunk driving thing. "None of my friends or family would do such a thing".

I'm called paranoid for believing things will happen to me and I will do something stupid. And I have. Many examples are all over this site... I'm glad some people are civil enough not to bring them up during debates aswell. :|

It's not until you gain maturity that you really begin to understand.

In fact - that's kind of what maturity is all about.
I guess so.

But how does this relate to the teen age? I know immature teens and mature teens, Immature adults and mature adults.

Infact, the only people I think are truly immature as an age, are people younger then 8.

How does sneaking into a bar show maturity?

Who says she sneaked?

But this is Trinidad, where they are very lax with club laws. If she can get a tattoo on her back, I'm sure they aren't screening the club door very hard.

Good point.

By the way, Legal Purchasing age in Trinidad of Alcohol is 18. There isn't data on age of legal drinking however... So it could still be possible she went in legally, but probably not.

Oh... By the way, to those who think it's irresponsible for me to drink every now and then...

"The Minimum Drinking Age and Minimum Purchasing Age are 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec, in all other provinces the Minimum Drinking Age and Minimum Purchasing Age are set at 19. Drinking by minors under adult supervision is permitted in licensed premises in the provinces of Manitoba and New Brunswick and at home in Prince Edward Island, Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan."

:D Woo.

Just saying.

Even so, I think we all drank when we were underage. I used to go clubbing before turning the legal age. First time was in Quebec, since they didn't ask for picture ID and the legal age was 18. :D

I haven't fake ID'd, because I look way to much like a 12 year old kid to fake ID.

I'm tall, but not very "big". They wouldn't need an ID to judge me. :P

Plus, I can just get others to buy the beer and I can drink it legally with my buds, :D
