Working as intended. There must be no left wing social media platforms.

I'm sure that Antifa will still be able to use Twitter to their hearts content to organize & plot their daily shitflinging riots in lawless sewer-cities like Portland & Seattle. It's not like any of them ever got banned from the site, no matter what they did or what they said. Ditto too for the bravehearts still sending their precocious little death threats to people like JK Rowling. I remain confident that the internet will remain a free-for-all for those with the absolutely correct modern politics.

Scape Scape:

I wonder (as did Beau) if it occurred to him that advertisers pulling their money is actually 'free speech'?

It's not free (to him) if it is costing him money.

It'll be sad to watch him burn through billions of dollars for a vanity project, but the moment he realized the world does not conform to his intuition, will be beautiful.

I would hate to be an employee of Space X and Tesla when that happens.

Here's hoping. The world is very quickly getting sick of his shit.

Very few of the left who engaged in the same sort of activities as the right did on Twitter ever got banned the way the righties typically were. That's just fact, and shows how some of the moderators at Twitter, some of these clowns who Musk just fired en masse, were running the place. Some autistic with an anime character as an avatar who'd say something like "I'd like to find JK Rowling and take a steel pipe to her TERF c**t face" was (and still is) far more likely to receive a cavalcade of likes than they are any sort of response from Twitter for violating their hate & violence rules.

This is what the left really hates about Musk's plans for Twitter - the right will be allowed back on to the platform to again engage in the sort of activity that the left has been doing & never suffered any consequences for since the place began. The private club for left wing shitheads that Twitter got turned into via the mechanism of mass bans of right wing shitheads only is now being turned into an open-air venue for shitheads of all sides with no repercussions for anyone. It's merely natural that the people of the left extreme who've gotten away with whatever they wanted for so very long would feel very resentful that the place will now be equal opportunity for pretty much every form of malicious stupidity the users of a place as wretched as Twitter are capable of imagining.
