That's not a stream of rats in the gutter like the Nazis compared Jews with. That's a berm breaking open and a cesspool emptying into a formerly clean river.

N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog:
What refugees?

Break laws and you stop being a refugee.

See these guys who broke through the police lines in Croatia this afternoon?

They're not refugees. They're invaders.

Unfortunately there's no Charles Martel or Jan Sobieski to stop them this time.

Europe has chosen to be led by Progressive Weinies, and now the Barbarian is through the gates.

Prepare to reap the Mohammedan whirlwind Europe.

The Serbs won't do anything because the last time they tried dealing with their Muslim troubles they had the shit bombed out of them by the West and a chunk of their country ripped away.

Apparently it's despicable to be refugee

They are not refugees.
We all know you will never admit it, but they aren't.
They stopped being refugees when they left the 'first safe country' they entered.

There are rules even for refugees, things like 'entering the first safe country',
applying for asylum, being registered, and perhaps even being polite enough not to shit all over the people helping you.

Real refugees don't leave the 'first safe country'.
Real refugees don't traverse 5 or 6 "safe" countries on their way to the one with the best welfare benefits.
Real refugees don't riot in every country they pass through.
Real refugees don't show up with brand new smartphones and designer clothes.
Real refugees aren't 90% military aged men.
Real refugees allow themselves to be registered. The fact they constantly refuse this speaks volumes as to their real intent.

The Croats have a history of dealing with muslims that the "refugees" won't like.

They used to, not anymore.

Now they panic and collapse in 2 days.

They have been sending illegals crossing into Croatia, over to Hungary.

Of all places, Hungary. What a nice way to stab your neighbor in the back.

Bloody cowards.

The fence building continues, I imagine it will go 24/7 now.

As this crisis develops daily there have been various comments in this thread and others about how several European countries are refusing to agree to taking in these people on the EU's "quota system" or now not allowing them to pass through. There is obviously growing concern and more disagreement between countries as to how to handle this situation.

I can't help but wonder if all this could lead to the EU dissolving as we know it today. :?:

Europe is on it's death bed. Years of left-wing policy is coming up and biting them in the ass now. :(

I would love to be in Viktor Orban's office right now. :)

Buses from Croatia sending illegal through the border would have put him through the roof.

The buses were met by Hungarian soldiers with machine guns, so everyone is pretty pissed off.

Later, the Croat PM being called out of an emergency meeting because
'Angela Merkel is on the phone', would only show Viktor who is making the decisions in Zagreb.

The coalition in Germany is falling apart; the CSU, who rule Barvaria, don't come to coalition
events any more.

Poland has elections in a few weeks, expect the hard right to do well, especially
if this quota nonsense keeps going.

What will probably happen, after a lot of shouting, is that Hungary, Slovakia and Poland will put their illegal camps right on the border with Austria / Germany, and the camps will be empty in a month anyway.

But the damage to the V4 countries, that will sting for along time.

The biggest problem has been the fucking Germans, moving the goal posts every 3 days.
It's been constant bullshit, and nothing but bullying.
No one in the EU will trust them ever again.

Something like this was bound to happen at some point...
The way the UK HAS to handle the illegals who jump onto semi's in France, and when found, the truckers go to jail and the illegals get a house and welfare...
Merkel saying "Come on in, come on over, we will help you!" and then, a day later "ALLLL of Europe needs to help!" and then closing her borders because she CAN'T handle it. Duh, other countries already saw that, which is why they didn't yell "Come on in!!"
Europe can't afford this. I feel for the REAL refugees. I can't imagine what they are going through, having to leave everything and everyone behind. I do agree those should be helped.
Economical migrants are not refugees tho. Don't demand shit. Register where you are supposed to. Accept the help you get, don't DEMAND to be brought to the place of your choice. It doesn't work that way.

I have no solution for this. If I had, I wouldn't work where I am working, but would be making the mega-bucks and drive a new truck.

I am very f*cking happy that I made the choice to move to Canada when I did. Just sayin.

All of the EU should be taking in a reasonable number of real refugees, but then I think most states that can afford it already are. But Merkel totally lost her mind when she opened the gates one day, then tries to close them - that will just lead to more troubles as more people try to flood in. Canada and the US also should be taking a reasonable number.

But you won't solve this crisis by taking in refugees, there are just too many. And most are stuck in the ME anyway, because they don't have the money to make the journey to Europe. There are plenty of Syrian refugees in Kurdistan now, and they are settling in well, creating businesses etc. The ones in Jordan and Lebanon tho, need financial help - those states can't afford it. That's where we should be directing our efforts, making things better for refugees to stay in the region, so that they can go home whenever the fighting finally ends. Turkey also needs to quit bombing the Kurds and do its bit for the refugees. That's probably the main flashpoint - Turkey going after the Kurds in Syria and worried about Kurdish refugees flooding in.

Funny how for the CKA braintrust, the Kurds are valiant fighters against ISIS, but when many of them try to flee to Europe for better conditions they become Muslim scum.

Probably berating the west for not taking in more "refugees" while ignoring the fact that the mid-east countries are not accepting any due to the high risk they pose for violence.
