Your comparisons between these models and idiots taking meth are off the hook crazy. Anyone who lives their lives by what the ads encourage and what the nice salesmen say to them should be wearing a rubber diaper and have to be locked up at night for the own safety.

And I thought I had a shitty opinion of the human race. You're like ten times the hardcore misanthrope I am, young man.

Yeah, but I'm old, I come from a whack lineage, and have been fucked in the head for a long, long time. What's your excuse for a cynicism that's rarely seen in anyone younger than eighty-years-old? I mean, I like you and all, but holy shit do you have an attitude. I at least give others a chance to personally fuck me over before I start hating them. (and I'll put my bona fides on standing up for women over the last few years on this forum up against anyone else who wants to tussle, but I'll do it without once have to resort to using any degenerate dialectic from the chattering classes at the local college womyn's studies group )

I don't hate anyone either, except for the ones that have deliberately backstabbed or dirted me. For those that did, even though I don't believe in any gods, I really wish that an afterlife hell exists. I kind of reject the premise of the anti-social description too. It's more of an introvert (doesn't need to be around others to be fulfilled) and social-avoidant (too many things could go wrong so I won't put myself in that position anymore), and neither of those have the same negative connotations that anti-social does. I'm usually very polite, friendly, and respectful of others when I meet them. It's more that I just don't want anyone getting too close anymore, because that's when the guard gets lowered and the knife goes in. Had enough of that bullshit from some of these idiots. When things stabilize I plan on getting a couple of dogs because I just don't have the energy to trust the majority of people anymore. And there's nothing shameful at all about wanting to keep to yourself.

Public_Domain Public_Domain: andyt andyt: Not sure what problem you are referring to, but the main influence on these girls are their mothers and peer group. I'm not really sure what you want men to do about a problem that is inherent to females. I would say it's time adult women started talking to each other, and instead of blaming men, which is know it lots of fun, take a look how they are transmitting this particular meme. Of course if women are helpless victims, we can't really expect that of them, so I guess it's up to the guys to step up, force them not to compete with each other. You got any ideas how to do that? Kill the beauty complex. Or at least, return it to rational levels. Yes, I declare it, I believe how women see themselves is entirely a man-made environmental saturation of information and the current standard we allow and prevent the reform of (because we're male, fellas!) is toxic to society as a whole. What I mean with the meth and kids analogies is that the media is extremely addicting. Kids grow up on confusing scraps of the current adult generation. Everything they learn comes from what the experience. Unlike meth, everyone sees ads. I've spent years finding ways to cut down how many ads I see, but they remain everywhere. Adults telling kids that meth is great, getting zoinked on goofballs is great, screw everything let's go crazy. It's the greatest, you'll make friends, you will be cool. Kids, being kids, growing up in this constant environment of poisonous advirtising telling them they aren't cool unless they are on meth. Most of the adults are okay with meth, they run that shit and make excuses for it on the internet (disproportionally by the main addicts). So the kids, seeing their friends and family doing meth like it's just how we're supposed to freaking do things as a "natural extension of human darwinism" or some BS, totally do meth. Someone either convinces them to or they get curious. They're young. Meth loves young people. Young people love doing what they are told. The greatest victims of meth are the young. It eats them up and destroys them, and they destroy others. Never good enough, never enough meth. Then some guy who gives money to meth cooks comes along and says that meth addiction is a choice and that you chose wrong. How society forms is definitely brewed in the experiences young people have. The solution is too radical, yadda yadda yadda, I'm a guy and I'm okay with women being naked on a Coca Cola ad for milk. Just meaningless drivel. None of it says how you would kill the beauty complex. You'll never do it, that complex is part of our reproductive drive - men finding women attractive who outwardly show they are young and healthy and fertile and will make good breeding partners. (even if they're not - that's what the beauty industry is all about). And women will do what they can to try to meet that standard, because they want to breed with the most desirable male they can. So good luck killing what is a basic human drive. Doubt if you are out there looking for 60 yo fatties with facial/body asymmetry either. Torque that with the greed that is capitalism, and you've got quite the system going there - one that your few words will do nothing to change. As for you being naked on a Coke ad - go for it. As I say, I bet the next big thing in advertising will be to direct it at gays. They'll love a nice twinkie like you. You want to draw in the women, get a few more years on you, dress in a nice suit that indicates you have high social status, that's what will attract them. But really, looking at ads that are likely aimed at women, it mostly features other women, with men and children in the background as props. Ie, it's a competition between women.

Here you go, it's all Barbie's fault.

Public_Domain Public_Domain: Yogi Yogi: andyt andyt: the thing is, I very much doubt this ad is aimed at men: "buy this milk and get laid.' I think it's aimed at women: "buy this milk, be healthy and sexy, and snag a high status male." There you go. The Ad Wizards have accomplished exactly what they set out to do! They have the populace talking about their product. Coke-milk-coke-women-coke men-coke-women-coke-naked women-... The milk & the women were just the 'bait'. ...WHICH IS FINE, LET'S CHANGE NOTHING. GREAT. Protesting and ranting & raving against pretty women... I'm sure that there are still homesteads available somewhere. You'll be much happier and less inclined to have a melt-down if you are all by yourself out in the pristine wilderness. Well, not quite all by yourself. You will have Bambi & Thumper & Brere Bear for company. Since you will not be taking all your current 'Capatalist Inventions' with you as you won't need contact with 'the outside world', give this a listen before you go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plJMQeK ... detailpageBuh Bye!

When things stabilize I plan on getting a couple of dogs because I just don't have the energy to trust the majority of people anymore. And there's nothing shameful at all about wanting to keep to yourself. I don't really like being by myself, I much prefer to be with a group. I'm young so i'm still thrilled with the idea of getting zoinked. I have a harsh opinion of many problems in our lives, and I can be a class A douche, I like to think my company is enjoyed. Mostly because I don't ever bring up the politics, but when it does get brought up it's great when a bunch of drugged idiots get into a screaming match over 9/11 and gun control. What probably makes me upset is helplessness. So angst, I guess? I also don't mind being the batshit strawman that conservatives tell their kids at to make sure they eat their knock-off Kraft Dinner. The feminazi, the race traitor, the wastoid, the red. I must make some of the folks here feel very validated in their fears of these basically non-existant groups. I used to do the same thing. Getting the dead-enders and illiterates among your friends all riled up by tossing information at them that their brains aren't capable of processing is usually the source of endless laughs. Like tossing a stick of dynamite* into an outhouse you never know what'll come bubbling up. I don't necessarily have any problem with what John Lydon called as "anger is an energy". It's more that finding anything worth getting angry about has turned into such a waste of time and effort. Take my ongoing rants against the TeaBirchers for example. I don't particularly like the Democrats. It's just that the Dems are merely less assholish than the Baggers are. Philosophically I'm still kind of conservative on a lot of things. Emotionally though I can's stand rudeness, meanness, grandstanding, and any other bit of circus duh-duh bullshit, which leaves me no choice but to reject everything the TeaBirchers represent. Maybe they're correct on some things but they've behaved in such an appalling carnival-barker manner that emotionally I have no choice but to disavow them. Everything is ugly politics and chicanery and some asshole playing their own game. Think you're doing the right thing and it usually turns out you're just another schmuck doing the work for some iteration of Randall Flagg. * this of course also applies to the internet at any given moment of the day. yep, most of them are really just that damn dumb.
