Well, if Muslims have the right to demand the violent overthrow of western governments and the Westboro jerks can protest at funerals and the Nazis can parade in Jewish neighborhoods then this guy certainly has the right to protest a mosque on a public street.
The court, in this case, is wrong and the judge will be eventually handed his butt by an appellate court.
Yes, he should not have been jailed. But denying him a permit to protest seems reasonable. Then, if he does it anyway, he can face the consequences of that.
