Which is pretty much what a lot of posters have been saying. It's a protest against this moronic "Bushism" (you're either for us or agin us) attitude.
Unfortunately ignoring the fact that Don Cherry has pushed the human cost into our faces. Would we rather just see flag-draped coffins traveling the Highway of Heros? Or worse, a la Bush, not even be allowed to see those coffins on the news? Cherry reminds us that these are people. Whether he realizes it or not, wants to or not, he's fueling the anti-war cause.
Go protest against the bullshit politics of a distant war where we're told but never shown combat against an enemy, we only ever see casualties by IEDs, picked off like tin ducks in a carnival shoot while we hear only of betrayals and corruption of those we're supposed to be defending.
In less time than we've already been in Afghanistan Germany went from a broken country to training and deploying an army that conquered most of Europe and North Africa. Yet we're just about to start training our supposed allies.
Protest the lies, the shifting reasons, the deceit outside and demand we bring our troops home now. I'll agree.
But support the troops that did their duty, far beyond what anyone expected, because they have to do what the morons in Ottawa order. And let Cherry rant, that's what the dolt's always done, because he's doing something positive too.
