Yes Ahmed Khadr before he turned loon, from what I've read he did a lot before he turned wacko. Just because he became a loony toon later does not change what he did before that. Yes all his good deeds go down the drain by his later actions but the facts remain the same.

Just like the Muhjahideen, future talibans and the likes of Osama Bin Laden were US allies, trained and armed by them during the Russian conflict. OBL might be enemy number 1 right now but one point in time he was a US ally and that's a fact. Just like Saddam was.
