Having been doing this job for 17 years I can honestly say that I have never covered up for any wrong doing on the job, both here and the UK.

The blue wall is is a myth. Bad cops are not tolerated. Why would we tolerate shit heads in our ranks? It doesn't make any sense.

Well, I know you are not personally doing that Ruez, but when people say 'the cops did this' instead of aiming it at the knobs who actually did the offence in question, well its tarring us all with the same brush.

Unfortunately this kind of stuff hurts us in Ontario as much as the decent guys in BC.
The public (god bless 'em) see us a massive blue entity, like the Borg or something.
I take exception to being lumped into the same category as three losers with badges 5000 klicks away beating on some poor newspaper guy.

I agree with you, a lot of people can be assholes. I've read many comments in my local paper about the big bad police. However don't forget there are many more of us that although we may criticize some police we also appreciate the job you guys do on a daily basis. I have a lot of respect for the police, I wouldn't want to see a society without them.
