oh well, still can get gas for $2.97 a Gallon here.

1 US gallon = 3.78541178 litre

Which means I am paying 0.79 cents per litre.

It's funny how The United States get 48% of it gas from Canada and only 18% from the middle east, but pays less than it's supplier.

Canadians = OWNED!!!

In Houston, TX it's even cheaper. LOL

What's funny is that American's are crying about the price at the pump too. :?:

They want to drill more oil in the USA, and cut out foreign oil. Poor Alberta.

it's called TAXES...somebody has to pay for socialist canuckistan.

yeah we're shaking in our boots in Alberta...you will still never be able to afford to live here...

What the hell are you yapping about, I still have my apartment in Alberta.

It is just working in the United States I make more, and get taxed less by the Government.

You know; "The harder you work in Canada the more the government gets, the hard you work in the United States, the more you get."

Besides, someone has to pay for Quebec and the Broken Health Care System. LOL Just not me.

No, Canadian Action Party seems to be a very Liberal Pro-Canadian party..

This party seems to be a concern more with Canadian values and Canada as a whole..

I think Canada should be run by CAP.

Why do you keep shitting on Canada with your BS? You don't like the taxation? Seems like you've found your solution move to the U.S. So why are you here bitching about Canada? Personally on a $1900 dollar pay period I pay $300 in income tax, that doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Our country has eliminated the defecit and reduced taxation at the same time. What do you think is going to happen in the U.S. when they are finally forced to tackle the defecit?

I like the health care system in so much as it is universal and covers everyone rich or poor. As I stated in my post, which you must have glossed over, we have a shortage of doctors and that is the problem I have with the system. As for my economic situation, I have no dependents and I even got back $1000 when I did my taxes. I have no complaints about income tax in Canada.

Well I'll have to agree with you regarding the short supply in Medical personnel. Same here for Nurses, my friend from Ottawa has moved to Sac, CA, USA to work, they gave him an instant Green Card.

Yeah, I got back $1,100 this year in Canada and $260 in the USA. :P

Plus I will get a $400 Check in June/08. XD

Canadian health system is gernally O.K., at least by the experiences I have had, but I am not the one bitching how bad it is on this forum, only that it is broken in that we need to pay our doctors 'in Canada' more to keep them there.

Also, I would like to see Canada offer Free eduction to doctors to will remain in Canada for say 10 years and give them tax breaks.

The problem is governments like to interfere. The Liberal government in BC reduced the health spending immensely and closed down many hospitals. The government also limited how many doctors could be trained in our medical schools. I believe that was the NDP. I believe health care should be funded as needed and not neccesarily by how much the government wishes to allocate in order to cut spending.

If gas would be a natural resource exploited fairly, there would be no complaint about its price.
