DrCaleb DrCaleb: Thanos Thanos: Wouldn't care if the CBC were a private corp that funded themselves. The part though where the rest of us are paying taxes so terrorist-supporting scum have a forum to go to where they can spout their filth leaves me absolutely fucking livid. Wait . . you blame the CBC for the people posting on it? How does that make sense? Because these idiots post their crap on the CBC comments section and the CBC rarely bothers to moderate or delete the most offensive ones. And, yes, some goddamn NDP son of a bitch in downtown Toronto or some BQ son of a bitch from Quebec City who says he wishes that the PM had been shot instead absolutely deserves to have his comments deleted from a taxpayer-funded forum.

http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/1034708 ... in-ottawa/$1: A shooting at Canada’s Parliament Hill took place on Wednesday morning, with one suspect shot dead.
Two sources told the Canadian Press that Sergeant-At-Arms Kevin Vickers shot the first suspect.
“I am safe & profoundly grateful to Sgt at Arms Kevin Vickers & our security forces for selfless act of keeping us safe,” said Julian Fantino, Canada’s Minister of Veterans Affairs and a member of Parliament, via Twitter.
“To all in Ottawa, stay safe & strong. Thank God for Sgt at Arms Kevin Vickers & our Cdn security forces. True heroes…” added Minister Peter MacKay.
“Some people question why there is a sergeant at arms #cdnpoli #ableg #yql #Lethbridge …this is why!” added YQL on the Fringe Podcast, with a link to this story.
Vickers is being described by many as a hero.
“It’s not too early to say it, Sergeant-At-Arms Mr. Kevin Vickers is a Canadian hero,” said university student Dave Beninger.

Vickers was a 29-year veteran of the RCMP before joining the House of Commons as Director of Security Operations in June 2005. He assumed the position of Sergeant-at-Arms on Sept. 1, 2006.
The Sergeant-at-Arms is a position steeped in parliamentary tradition, noted Metro News.
The Sergeant-at-Arms, one of four positions reporting to the Clerk of the House of Commons, is responsible for safeguarding the authority of the House of Commons, the safety and security of the Parliament buildings and their occupants, ensuring and controlling access to the House of Commons, the preservation of order and the management of all Parliamentary buildings, assets and related services.
According to the Globe and Mail, Vickers, who grew up in Miramichi, N.B., is tehe tall man in black carrying mace into the House.
He sits quietly in his seat in the chamber when the Commons is in session.

From CNN: $1: In response to the ongoing situation at Canada's Parliament, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, or NORAD, has increased its alert posture, CNN has learned. That means that it has increased the number of planes on a higher alert status ready to respond if needed. NORAD and Canadian authorities are in contact, an official told CNN. That's weird. This morning around 7:30am the Air National Guard from McClellan and Mather scrambled a number of jets and I just thought it was an exercise. WTF? ![huh? [huh]](./images/smilies/icon_scratch.gif)

Just heard that the soldier standing guard at the National War Memorial has died. Some people may be offended by what I am about to say but at this point in time I don't really give a shit so here goes.
It is time to exercise one of two options. Option 1. Make Canada, Canada again. We have to quit bending over backwards to the millions of immigrants that come to our country that religiously hate us and our lifestyles. We give them prayer times at work, we change our education systems to benefit them, we do everything that we can to make them feel welcome only to have them demand that we change to accommodate them.
Option 2. Perhaps the United States could use up some of their surplus nukes and turn the Middle East into one big beach.

Still waiting to hear more on the shooter. People who claim to have seen him describe him as short and stocky with long black hair. One person on CBC radio described him as looking 'Indian'.... Casino or Accountant? Pretty sure Neville Quisling will find a way to blame it on us though.

Wait . . you blame the CBC for the people posting on it? How does that make sense? The CBC usually disables comments when any hot story pops up. They get routinely criticized for it. Today, I guess they decided to let the shit fly; today of all days not allowing comments is the right thing to do. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. Thanos Thanos: Because these idiots post their crap on the CBC comments section and the CBC rarely bothers to moderate or delete the most offensive ones. And the only difference between it and CKA is . . volunteer vs taxpayer funding. Except we have highly trained Ninja Mods. ![Kiss Ass [kissass]](./images/smilies/kiss_ass.gif) But the policy for poster comments is virtually identical. Those kind of comments might not be deleted here either.

I heard him described as 'overweight' by one witness and that had me thinking he may have been wearing body armor.

DanSC DanSC: An interesting tidbit: Stephen Harper was to attend a joint event with recent Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai in Toronto today. https://twitter.com/AshaTomlinson/statu ... 0380233728Something to investigate. That's a legit possibility, this Terrorist attack will not stop Canada from doing what's right. During a time like this the extreme Left can't help themselves.

Hyack Hyack: $1: Down some cold field in a world outspoken the young men are walking together, slim and tall, and though they laugh to one another, silence is not broken; there is no sound however clear they call.
They are speaking together of what they loved in vain here, but the air is too thin to carry the things they say. They were young and golden, but they came on pain here, and their youth is age now, their gold is grey.
Yet their hearts are not changed, and they cry to one another, 'What have they done with the lives we laid aside? Are they young with our youth, gold with our gold, my brother? Do they smile in the face of death, because we died?'
Down some cold field in a world uncharted the young seek each other with questioning eyes. They question each other, the young, the golden hearted, of the world that they were robbed of in their quiet paradise.
I do not ask God's purpose. He gave me the sword, and though merely to wield it is itself the lie against the light, at the bidding of my Lord, where all the rest bear witness, I'll deny. And I remember Peter's high reward, and say of soldiers, when I hear cocks cry, 'As your dear lives ('twas all you might afford) you laid aside, I lay my sainthood by.' There are in heaven other archangels, bright friends of God, who build where Michael destroys, in music, or in beauty, lute players. I wield the sword; and though I ask nought else of God, I pray to Him: 'But these were boys, and died. Be gentle, God, to soldiers.'
