Given Harper's past political maneuverings, it should come as no surprise that some people might think that he (or the party) is trying to use psychology to make the Conservative Party synonymous with Canada by using blue on the plane's paint scheme.
Further, given that I read the article and posted on the second page well AFTER Saturn posted his comment on the Air Force roundel, I was well aware of the why blue was used. I simply didn't agree with it as blue is not a colour the world associates with Canada.
