OnTheIce OnTheIce:
bootlegga bootlegga:

Blue isn't offensive at all, it's just not one of the colours on our flag, which was originally my point.

Your original point was:

$1:
Personally, I don't really care what he does with the plane, but the Opposition does have a point.

Mulclair thinks:

$1:
I don't think we've ever seen a government in Canadian history that so readily blurred the lines between government money and party money,

Your point was much the same as Mulclair, you agreed with him, yet unlike him, you're backtracking because you realise it isn't the scandal you and Tommy hoped it was until others here opened your eyes to the RCAF logo and history.

I'm not backtracking at all. I also said;

$1:
Given Harper's past political maneuverings, it should come as no surprise that some people might think that he (or the party) is trying to use psychology to make the Conservative Party synonymous with Canada by using blue on the plane's paint scheme.

Further, given that I read the article and posted on the second page well AFTER Saturn posted his comment on the Air Force roundel, I was well aware of the why blue was used. I simply didn't agree with it as blue is not a colour the world associates with Canada.

Nice try at twisting my words though... :P

I'm not sure red is a colour I'd naturally associate with Canada either Boots. People are thinking too hard on this. Blue has been an AirForce colour since 1918. I don't think there is a particular colour that I associate with any country.

I think this whole thing is just a partisan and silly dig at the Great Satan, Stevie. Still, I think Ford is linked with this somehow.

Your words were clear as was your intention. They don't need twisting.

You agreed with the opposition. Period.
