As horrible as this is, it's a daily occurrence all across the country to our south. I believe it was Stalin once said a single death is a tragedy, but a million is a statistic. That's sadly true in the USA as relates to accidental gun deaths.

It's one of the reasons I sold my little .22 plinker a few years back and haven't bothered getting another one - I have two little ones and something like would cause me to have a nervous breakdown and/or jump off a bridge.

I recall when I was five my parents gave me a blue plastic toy Thompson that made a cool machine gun sound when you pulled the trigger. That's the only thing this kid should have had.

I wanted one of those so badly, but when I could convince them to buy me a toy gun always got me a cowboy style revolver or pump action rifle. Talk about frustrating.

Nowadays, I make do with Airsoft guns like this;





In the interest of safety, I keep the battery and the pellets separate from it.

I heartily stand by my statements especially with regards to liberals. As for the vile comments? What got posted about myself and other gun owners in the past six months far and away outweighs me at my worst.

And I suppose you missed the memo but my personal policy anymore is that I make a point to agree with liberals whenever they propose to restrict their own rights or etc.

Liberals like gun control? Then I agree they should not own guns.

Liberals like abortions? Then I agree they should have them as often as possible.

Liberals like censorship? Then I agree that liberals should be censored.

Liberals like Muslims and sharia law? Then liberals should be subjected to them.

Liberals hate wealthy people? Then liberals should not be allowed to be wealthy people.

And etc.

I'm all too happy to embrace whatever idiocy you people want to do so long as you just do it to yourselves.
