Thanos Thanos:
BTW, I never said that women assaulting men was OK. I merely pointed out that the damage done by men attacking women is far worse and deserves to be treated far more seriously by the law. Assault is assault and should be a chargable offense regardless of who does it and why, which is where the far more serious charge of battery is supposed to be applied if necessary, but let's be realistic. A series of slaps or a scratch to the face or a hair pull by a woman against a man is pretty damn small potatoes compared to a raging male beating a woman in the face until she's unrecognizable. So fuck them. I'm not going to waste any of my time engaged in some sort of game of false equivalencies here. You guys can pull out all the "she did it too" anectodes all you want and it still won't even come close to the intensity, devastation, number of instances, and pure lethality of what happen when men beat up on women. It's the same difference as being hit by a pebble vs being smashed over the head with a brick.
Not all women at 5'1" and 100lbs. I have a few women friends 5'10+ and 150lbs+. On the flip side, not all men are big, burly guys with ham-fists.
You're generalizing that all women are small, weak and don't pack a punch.
That's bullshit.
My 7 year old packs a punch and can give you a good charlie-horse that aches for hours afterwards. Add another 3' in height and 100+ lbs and you have the average woman.
Speaking of number of instances....women hit men more often. Then also stab men more often....so your number of "instances" is just a myth carried forth by this double standard.
