Hard to feel sorry those tears when the worst you've encountered is a few minutes being scared, which pales in comparison to having your family torn to shreds and your "cell" which you live in the big over crowded prison called Gaza flattened.

He shut them up because they asked for the truth and then tried to interrupt him when he tried to give it to them. Some people can't handle the truth. It's nice to here it from someone with a real background on the subject. He'll still get the "self hating Jew" crap from his opponents, but most people see that for the BS it is.

There was this guy on Sun yesterday talking about how the reason you don't hear a lot of stories from the foreign press in Israel about the human shields, rocket attacks and general activities concerning Hamas is foreign journalist are threatened, intimidated, and there have even been cases of them being attacked when they publish the facts of Hamas on the ground. Many foreign reporters become reluctant to offer too many details of what Hamas is really up to.

That was just Sun though.

However, this morning there was this.

$1:
Several journalists from around the world reported seeing rockets fired from civilian areas in Gaza in recent days, and received threatening tweets in return accusing them of “informing” the IDF.

On Wednesday, Peter Stefanovic of Australia’s Channel Nine News tweeted: “Hamas rockets just launched over our hotel from a site about two hundred metres away. So a missile launch site is basically next door.”

An account called @ThisIsGaza said this was Stefanovic’s fourth time “passing and fabricating information to Israel... from GAZA” and threatened to sue him.

Another account, @longitude0 wrote: “You are a cretin. Are you working for the IDF” and “in WWII spies got shot.”

Financial Times Jerusalem Bureau Chief John Reed reported seeing “two rockets fired toward Israel from near al-Shifa hospital, even as more bombing victims were brought in.”

Shifa, in Gaza City, is the main medical facility in the Strip.

In response, @Saritah_91 tweeted: “We’ll hold you responsible if Israel uses your tweet to bomb the hospital & then justify it.”

Another twitter user, @ Faysal_FreeGaza, said he’s “subtly justifying and encouraging IDF attacks on hospitals,” and @Maysara_ ara wrote: “Get out of Gaza u informant.”

Wall Street Journal correspondent Nick Casey tweeted on Tuesday a photo of a Hamas official using Shifa hospital for media interviews, writing: “You have to wonder w the shelling how patients at Shifa hospital feel as Hamas uses it as a safe place to see interviews.”

By Wednesday, the tweet was deleted, but pro-Palestinian Twitter accounts continued to include him on lists of “journos in Gaza [who] lie/fabricate info for Israel” and “must be sued for crimes.”

On Sunday, Janis Mackey Frayer, a correspondent for Canada’s CTV, tweeted that, while in Gaza City’s Shejaiya’s neighborhood, she “saw several Hamas gunmen.

One passed dressed in a woman’s headscarf... tip of a gun poked out from under cloak.”

She received threats similar to those sent to other reporters.

Harry Fear, a journalist from the UK reporting from Gaza for RT (formerly Russia Today) television, tweeted last week: “Early morning Gaza rockets were fired into Israel. A well-known site in W. Gaza City, near my hotel, was among the origins, confirm locals.”

Fear then took on the critics, tweeting soon after that he rejects “loaded complaints that I ‘informed’ Israel about the specifics of Gaza military sites... These sites are well-known among locals and internationals here.”

“Should a journalist only report the noise and ferocity of Israel’s attacks & not the sounds of Gaza’s rockets? Both terrify people,” he tweeted.

Later that day, Fear tweeted: “Al-Wafa hospital has been hit in the last while; injuries reported – this is the hospital with human shields.”

...and this guy knows the truth? :?

Sorry Delwin, everybody that talks about the conflict is so biased, it's hard to believe anything they say. Let's not talk about the media either... they lean so far to one side or another, it's surprising that they can still stand up.

Everybody that has little or no bias, just don't give much of a f**k anymore. They would just like this gong show to end. :(

Yeah, this is their new propaganda line of attack, the journalists are being biased, they don't mention our bullshit stories, blah, blah, blah..

They even insinuated CNN was too pro Palestine. It might be somewhat effective as a tactic in that it further clouds the truth of the circumstance, but when your ratio of civilians to militants is so crappy people will still see it as brutish.

CNN’s Erin Burnett Fact-Checks Israeli Ambassador’s Criticisms of CNN

I'm kind of suprised they chose to go after CNN, they have been decidedly Pro-Israel thus far.

Some valid points.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/mid ... story.html

Kerry also met twice with the intelligence chief for the Palestinian Authority, who ran interference during the lengthy split between the Palestinian Fatah faction, which talks to Israel and the United States, and Hamas, which talks to neither.

The Palestinian split is its own complication in resolving the
18-day conflict in Gaza, which has been controlled exclusively by Hamas since 2007. The militant group has long pledged to eradicate Israel, and the United States and Israel consider it a terrorist group. U.S. officials are barred from direct dealings with Hamas.

http://news.nationalpost.com/2014/07/26 ... struction/

JERUSALEM — An Israeli Cabinet minister says Israel has agreed to extend a 12-hour humanitarian truce in the Gaza war by four hours.

The minister, Yuval Steinitz, spoke Saturday on Israeli television station Channel 10.

The initial lull agreed to by Israel and Hamas had begun at 8 a.m. (0500 GMT) Saturday.

Steinitz confirmed reports that Israel decided to extend it by four hours, until midnight Saturday.

He says the decision was made by the Israeli prime minister and defence minister.

Steinitz says a further extension would be considered at a Cabinet meeting later Saturday.
Thousands of Gaza residents who had fled Israel-Hamas fighting streamed back to devastated border areas during a lull Saturday to find large-scale destruction: scores of homes were pulverized, wreckage blocked roads and power cables dangled in the streets.

The truce was the only apparent outcome from a high-level mediation mission by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon over the past week. They failed to broker a weeklong cease-fire as a precursor to a broader deal, as they had hoped.

C'mon now don't be shy. Let's not just post the one in reaction to the one where Burnett was disgraced. Entertaining as it might be to watch Burnett and a collection of CNN buddies cherry-pick examples of them saying stuff you might have missed the first time if you blinked.

Let's see the original of Burnett being made to look like an idiot. You know, the one where Burnett who now wants to tell us how well CNN covered the story concerning the UN schools where Hamas was hiding rockets didn't appear to know anything about such incidents. Yeah let's see that one.

Here's my answer to the question 'Is CNN biased?'

Watch it.

Wish I lived in Calgary.

Apparently the woman who organized the event where the family was beaten on the street by Mohammedan thugs was bragging about it to her buddies on twitter, boasting on how they owned the streets now, and unbelievers better stay of them when they were there, while she pretended to be apologetic when talking to the press.

Ezra didn't like that. Here, he'll tell you.

He's organized a kind of take back our streets event in Calgary for this Thursday. Wish I could go, but I can't.

$1:
Anti-Israeli extremists held a violent riot in front of City Hall in Calgary. .

We're going to have a peaceful rally in support of Israel's right to self-defence and to defend and celebrate our Canadian democracy and fundamental freedoms.

She proved nothing. That's the point. CNN was biased before she organized her little excuse-fest and it's still Hamas-biased after it.

Fuck you Erin Burnett.
