Benoit, as much as I appreciate the conciseness of your posts, could you please stop tossing out vague generalities that are either only tenuously connected to the topic at hand or only lead to further confusion? I hate to be a critic (oh, okay I love it), but try to average above a sentence per post. Sometimes I feel that I have wasted far more of my time trying to understand what you just said than I would have wasted reading a post several paragraphs long.

Now that is self-explanatory. I apologize for not sending it to you directly.
EDIT: Would you like me to delete it and send it to you personally?

Because almost all of the last several posts have been between us, and I think we agree on this issue.

Delwin Delwin:
I will always feel that abortion is a woman's choice as it is their body and they are the ones that have to deal with the consequences of an unwanted prenancy.

Here's an idea that is provocative even though I don't totally agree with: the man should not have to pay child support for any pro-choice woman that decides to keep her baby.

That is a weird analogy...

I thought the idea of not aborting was to make sure this child grew up getting everything it needs. The daddy taking care of it is one of those things, right?

Yes, but the analogy seems to lie in that if the woman is the only deciding factor in the abortion's occurence, why should the man be obligated to take part in the result?

What about the pro-life crowd? Then the man has to pay? Even if HE doesn't want it?

:?

The pro-life crowd could consistently state that it is both parents' responsibility for the child they have made so both should support it. The analogy just seems to indicate that there is an inconsistency between making a women the sole decision-maker and then requiring the man to pay for the result. I wouldn't seriously consider doing such an act myself, but it is an interesting thought.

EDIT: And yes, I would make the man pay for it. Men seem to get away with too much nowadays. Delinquency of this sort should be criminalized.
