Aging_Redneck Aging_Redneck: I was talking about when human life starts, its a matter of science. Period.
Oh don't worry DX will throw around science all day long but not in this thread. He knows damn well it's a human right from the get go. If he doesn’t he's lying.

It's totally unnecessary for you to get hot headed, and upset about it. Derby, could you please not pull this 'problem personality' thing of yours on this topic? I fear it is going to polarize the discussion. Don't try and pull your BS nonesense where you try to call me a problem personality when it was in fact you being an asshole in all those other threads you are talking about. Take a good look back through the thread and see the number of people supporting my posts. The only person polarizing the thread and discouraging debate is you trying to look like some calming debate coordinator. BTW, you can easily say that "life" begins with the start of the same brain wave patterns that we use to determine when life has ended even when the body still functions. We use that definition to determine when to harvest organs and "end" that persons life so its not unreasonable to use those same brain wave patterns for a legal definition of the start of life. Well at least you've switched to personal attacks against me instead of polarizing the debate. I'll just ignore you, and everyone will be happier that way.

Once again you show why you are a problem personality who doesn't debate. Take a look back at who tossed around insults and accused people of being hot-headed and polarinzing the debate. You, the same person who when had his unsupportable position battered suddenly decided to run away. Just remember to keep your word about ignoring me. On Yer bike then.

This isn't good for your health. It's Sunday, you should be relaxing.

does that mean you are ok about 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions?
Alas, 3rd trimester abortions lead to a lot of baby girls in china getting aborted.

Alas, 3rd trimester abortions lead to a lot of baby girls in china getting aborted. No, that doesn't mean I agree with second or third trimester abortions. I think that from the moment you know you are pregnant, you have enough time to decide (most women know they want an abortion before they are even pregnant, or know they are...) till about 10 weeks into the pregnancy. It will mean you have 4 weeks of counseling, decisionmaking, talking to people, from the day you know you are pregnant. I think you should see a psychologist, mandatory, and have 5 days to think about it after you went to the abortion clinic or doctor, minimum. I can not agree with abortions after the first trimester. Medical reasons are different, of course. I don't want to go into the medical reasons however, because I think that is such a personal decision...

Brenda, I tend to agree with you on this.
As a side note, not to be interpreted as disagreeing with you, I have 2 sisters that each have 2 children against the recommendations of at least one healthcare worker. In some cases, the healthcare worker speaks out of turn. And, in some cases, severe conditions can be managed carefully.
4 healthy children, 2 very grateful mothers.

Brenda Brenda: The day someone is born, and can actually exist outside the womb. So what about a preemie in an incubator?

RUEZ RUEZ: Brenda Brenda: The day someone is born, and can actually exist outside the womb. So what about a preemie in an incubator? I don't think its considered abortion, once the baby is in an incubator. But it does bring up a point that medical science and the condition of the baby may determine when life starts.
