Don't be dumb enough to think that the 1978 border skirmish is somehow proof that China would launch a war simply to thin out its population. My comment was about drawing allusions to some of the more truly tin foilish reasons why the US went to war in Vietnam. If you can't understand references then don't jump into debates you aren't suited to.

I'd say you are doing quite a good job yourself. You drew the connection between my referencing that China starting a war to thin out its population is akin to saying the US entered Vietnam as a way to thin out their black population to quell rising ethnic tensions (both are ludicrous).

You posting about the Sino-Vietnam war seemed more then anything to be "sure they could".

Oh, Vietnam invading Cambodia may have been part of it but it certainly wasn't all of it as they themselves claim otherwise:

Saying that the Chinese are so monstrous that they'd start a war without just cause for the expresses purpose of killing off their own people.

Hell they could do that by "accidentally" releasing super bugs into densely populated areas.

Granted, their military guys could be questionable (I can always post pix of the PLA executing teenage girls in Tibet again to make that point) but the Chinese in general?

Their government (like all are) is made up from the people. If you think them capable of such thinking then you think the Chinese think like that. A disproportionate % of males will kill a disproportionate number of males too. The difference between what I said and what you said is I don't think they are contemplating it.

I could post photos of the US kill team in Afghanistan and photos of My Lai as well.

After WW1, Germany was left with many more females than males it still went to war.

In fact throughout most of recent history, Europe has had a surplus of females due to males being forced to go to war, or far away continents as administrators. It didn't stop them from butchering each other.
